THE RONBOW AESTHETIC: UNLIKE ANY OTHER

THE RONBOW AESTHETIC: UNLIKE ANY OTHER

High-end design is what decorators, architects and homeowners need to make interiors stand out. High-end design has been the driving force behind Ronbow since the company’s founding 20 years ago, but what does high-end mean exactly? In the case of Ronbow Signature, it’s collaborating with designers at the cutting edge of innovation who have an uncompromised vision.

Take the Pebble Collection designed by Ora Ito from France, for instance. Ranked among the top 40 most influential people in the world of design, this young Parisian thought outside the box when he conceived Pebble’s future-primitive aesthetic. The PEBBLE collection represents Ito's idea of "simplexity" - the art to giving an object with complex functions a visible simplicity. The vanity design integrates an LED mirror and a solid surface sinktop for a simple, seamless look.

Ronbow has also collaborated with Pininfarina. World famous for its iconic designs for sports car brand Ferrari, it was uncharted territory when the Italian firm decided to work with Ronbow. The collaboration bore fruit in the form of the ultra-modern Vento Collection, the epitome of a minimalist geometry that’s as visually arresting as it is practical.Ito’s vision is one of many to inform Ronbow Signature. To date, this elite family houses 11 collections by nine leading designers from six countries, and includes rising stars such as Alexander Zhukovsky. The Russian designer was the creative mind behind the Pure Collection in Ronbow’s Signature Series.

It’s not just about working with bold-faced names of the design world, but choosing individuals or collectives with singular ideas that reflect Ronbow’s values. Two new suites in the Signature Series, the STACK and WIDE collections, were a joint venture with Germany’s Phoenix Design studio, which has crafted looks for everyone from Audi to Samsung.

Space efficiency is the idea underpinning the vertically-oriented STACK collection, but the austerity is kept in check with multiple colors and fanciful features like the built-in cushioned bench of the 54” Stack bathroom Vanity in Stone Grey. For Ronbow’s WIDE collection, the Stuttgart-based firm drew from Bauhaus influences and the form-follows-function ethos comes to bear in super cool features like the 28” Vanity with electrical outlets and USB ports integrated into its drawers.

To make the best furniture collections, you have to work with the most creative minds. Whether a collection is created in-house or a collaboration, Ronbow's designs still come from that all important place: Inspiration. So it’s not who or what. Ultimately, high-end is a state of mind.
